CRESTWOOD CROSSING
This project is the redevelopment of the 46.97 +/- acres of the former Crestwood Plaza into a new mixed-use development consisting of 24.52 acres of commercial use and 22.45 acres of single-family residential. The project began with a planning and zoning review for a planned development and conditional use permits. Once planning and zoning approvals were received, our civil team completed the mass grading and critical infrastructure design (sanitary sewer and stormwater conveyance) for the entire site, as well as the roads, parking lots, additional utilities (electric, gas, domestic water, fire water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater conveyance), two (2) bioretention water quality treatment units and stormwater detention facilities design for the commercial half of the property. Our architectural team was responsible for the design of the 72,000 SF Dierbergs grocery store, and the 36,000 SF of additional commercial building space in the surrounding area. Other in-house services provided included the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural design for all commercial buildings on the site as well. Additional phases of the project are ongoing and will include additional commercial and retail spaces.
